The Panache Bespoke Taylor Shirt create of 100% cotton poplin in a two-fold weave. It is a standard weave (2 x 100’s) with a durable yet smooth finish and a medium fabric weight, made in England.

This weave tends to accentuate surface colors, making it the perfect poplin for the sharp checks, stripes, and end-on-ends that we specialize in.

Two sets of yarns are combined diagonally to create a perfectly smooth line on the shoulders. We also pay close attention to the sewing process to ensure durable and beautiful seams.

For an even more luxurious look, we use single-needle sewing, although it is more expensive, to achieve delicate and durable seams. All buttons are sew with a cross lock stitch to prevent loosening.

Interlining

Interlining is a material that  place between two pieces of shirt fabric, such as at the cuffs, buttoning, and collar. This material gives extra strength to these areas. Interlining in shirt construction can be a fuse or sewn. You can’t go wrong with either choice, but you should know the difference. At Panache Bespoke, we offer both cast and sewn interlining.

Iron-on interfacing is popular for ready-to-wear shirts, as city shirt interfacing is thermally bonded and suitable for mass production. Iron-on interfacing is stronger and more formal.

Sew interfacing for shirt production has a softer feel and is characterize by being joined by stitching rather than glue. This is the traditional method and is mainly used for custom shirts. Single Needle Stitch

All Panache Bespoke shirts is sewing with a single needle stitch. This is a traditional and expensive method but yields elegant and durable stitching (18-22 stitches per inch). The collar, cuffs, and buttoning are all sewn with a single needle to ensure the longevity of the shirt.
