A popular weave, it is easily recognizable by its distinct diagonal ribbed texture. In fact, this fabric is heavy but soft, more durable than its counterparts, and drapes easily. This will not look the same as freshly pressed poplin, but it is relatively easy to iron and wrinkle resistant.
