Navy and White Stripes Twill Shirt is a beautiful fabric. It is detailed and elaborate and comes in a variety of patterns and styles. Depending on the color of the threads used and the variation in weaving, it can produce a diagonal or herringbone texture. Twill fabrics are often more substantial (thicker) and less transparent than a sheet of similar quality. Twill fabrics will also be a bit brighter and will drape in a softer way than sheets or pins.
These have a less diagonal texture than the imperial or cavalry twills, but their texture will always be visible up close. We generally reserve this name for twills with very high number of threads (120) which are only of the best quality.
Woven tighter, the diagonal texture will only appear when looking closely. A simple solid color twill dress shirt is extremely dressy and suitable for any formal occasion.
